In Thailand, Chevrolet is dominating the scene with a Special Captiva which is decorated with more than 150,000 pieces of Swarovski Crystal from none other than BlingMyThing, who seems to have this uncanny ability to add bling to anything they lay their hands on. The crystallized Chevrolet Captiva was recently unveiled at the 30th Bangkok International Motor Show. The Swarovski elements has been applied one-by-one by BlingMyThing’s skilled craftsman in over 300 hours, decorating almost every outer chrome part with diamond-like “Crystal” color while adding some glamorous accent on the gold Chevrolet logo with “Light Colorado Topaz” CRYSTALLIZED TM - Swarovski Elements. The interior of the vehicle, on the other hand, has been mostly crystallized with Black Diamond and the Captiva LTZ 2009 model comes with a full list of standard options including a seven-inch touchscreen on the console with a navigator system incorporating air conditioning and audio controls, luxury beige colored leather, 18-inch alloy wheels with Dunlop sports tires and a chromium front grill. The car can further be personalized in a color of your choice from over 60 different stunning colours. The complete customization including crystals on the custom wheels is priced at 1 million Baht, i.e. approx. $28,137.
